Adam Capel, High School Faculty/Secondary Principal ~ Adam Capel is a member of the Science Department at GCCS, Secondary Principal, and an alumni of the Class of 2002. He currently teaches Life Science, Earth & Space Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, Advanced Biology, Forensics 1 & 2 electives, and coaches Jr. and Sr. High Bible Quizzing. Adam Has been involved in education for 13 years, all at GCCS, where he has also taught Ancient History, US History 1 & 2, Geography, Civics, World History, Economics, Introduction to Computers and Microsoft Office, Advanced Microsoft Office, Senior Life Skills, 8th Bible, 7th English, Fundamentals of Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, and SAT Math Preparation. Adam earned an A.A. in Education from Gloucester County College (Rowan College of South Jersey), a B.A. in History with a minor in Anthropology from Rowan University, a M.S. in Forensic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, holds both a certification in Death Scene Investigation and a M.S. in Forensic Science from the University of Florida, and is a Google Level 1 Certified Educator. In addition to his teaching duties, Adam is also the Secondary Principal where he aides the superintendent in Secondary-related areas, deals with general discipline issues, is social media coordinator, and website manager. In addition to these duties he is also the Non-Public Textbook & Technology Coordinator, PSAT/SAT Testing Coordinator, a member of the Technology Committee, and assists in Judging and IT for yearly GSACS Spelling Bee, Track, and Jr. High Academic Day events. Adam is a member of Trinity Bible Church in Glassboro and guest speaks at local churches without pastors or when pastors are away, each Sunday and Wednesday throughout the year. He enjoys guest lecturing at local colleges, traveling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
